Mrs. Anderson's Brown Sugar Bear Saver

A little terracotta bear that keeps the brown sugar scoopable.

Mrs. Anderson's brown sugar saver soaks up and slowly releases moisture to keep brown sugar soft for three to six months, and it re-softens sugar that has already gone hard, so there is no more chiseling at a brick. Soak it in water for twenty minutes, pat it dry, and tuck it into an airtight container. Used dry, the same bear pulls excess moisture to keep crackers, chips, and nuts crisp.
