Redecker Baking Gloves

The casserole always weighs more coming out of the oven than it did going in.

Redecker makes these in cotton terry loop with canvas cuffs, so the padding is where your palms are and the reinforcement is where the oven rack tends to catch you. At 35 cm they run well past the wrist, which is the gap most short mitts leave open. They go in the wash at 40 C when the roasting pan inevitably drips.
