Kuhn Rikon's Kinderkitchen dog knives are kid-tested and parent-approved, designed to get children ages 3 and up excited about helping in the kitchen. The cheerful dog shape does double duty: the ears act as a finger guard to keep hands away from the blade, and the tail is soft, poke-free plastic. The set includes a straight-edge and a serrated blade in strong Japanese stainless steel, sharp enough for soft foods but, for safety, not as sharp as an adult knife.
