Kuhn Rikon's ICED serrated utility knife handles the smooth-skinned jobs a plain edge slips on, tomatoes, small bread rolls, and other soft-skinned fruit and vegetables, at a handy in-between size. Its German stainless steel blade is ice-hardened, heated past 1000°C then chilled to -120°C the way old Swiss watchmakers tempered steel in snow, for a robust, corrosion-resistant edge, and a dark titanium coating gives it an elegant look.
