Nordic Ware's stovetop Belgian Waffler skips the electric iron entirely: set it over any burner, pour in batter, and press for light, golden waffles with pockets deep enough to hold butter, syrup, or a scoop of ice cream. Each press makes one waffle about 8 inches square that breaks into four smaller ones, and the non-stick cast aluminum heats evenly and resists warping. It tucks away far smaller than a countertop model.
