Mrs. Anderson's Baking Bread Saver

A little terracotta disc that keeps the bread box from going stale.

Mrs. Anderson's bread saver holds moisture in bread so loaves, rolls, and bagels stay soft instead of drying out. Soak it for 20 minutes, pat it dry, and tuck it in with your bread; or use it dry to pull moisture out and keep crackers, pretzels, chips, and granola crisp, and salt and flour from caking.

• High-fired terracotta; reusable and food safe
• Soak 20 minutes, pat dry, and store with bread, rolls, bagels, soft cookies, or tortillas to keep them soft
• Use dry to keep crackers, pretzels, chips, granola, and nuts crisp and prevent caking
• Heat safe to 1,112F
• Measures 2.25 x 2.25 x 0.25 in
• Rinse with clean water only, no soap; not for microwave use
