Chilewich Even Stripe Shag Floor Mat

Bands of color underfoot, made from yarn that would have gone to waste.

Chilewich's Even Stripe traces narrow bands of thoughtfully sequenced hues into a dynamic, dimensional play of color. Part of the F/W 2024 collection, it was developed using existing surplus TerraStrand yarns rather than making new ones, a meaningful step toward more sustainable production. The tufted shag texture works underfoot in entryways, kitchens, bathrooms, terraces, and pool decks. Designed by Sandy Chilewich in the Flatiron NYC studio and made in the USA.

Materials & construction

• Surface: looped TerraStrand yarns; resistant to mold, mildew, and chlorine; phthalate-free with renewable vegetable content from soybeans
• Backing: waterproof, non-skid vinyl; no rug pad needed
• Thickness: 0.25" (1/4 inch)
• Indoor and outdoor use
• Care: vacuum, shake out, or hose off and hang to dry; hand wash with mild detergent and air dry; do not machine wash; do not clean with acetone, Pine-Sol, or citrus-based cleaners
