Cristel's Strate saucepan is French-made stainless steel built around a clever removable-handle system: take the handle off and vessels nest inside each other for compact storage, or leave it on and it stays cool on the stovetop so nothing overheats or tips. Swap the long handle for two side handles and the pan goes straight to the table, where the diffuser base keeps food warm for serving.
