Glaze a tart, baste a chicken, oil a hot skillet. The Kuhn Rikon Essential Basting Brush does all of it with soft silicone bristles that are heatproof to 230 C and a slim stainless steel handle that feels better in the hand than a plastic one. When the job is done, pull the head off the handle and wash it properly, with no food left clinging where a fixed brush would trap it. Dishwasher suitable, though Kuhn Rikon recommends washing by hand.
