The soap is already in the handle, so the bottle can stay on the far side of the sink.

Press the button and a drip free valve releases just enough soap into the bristles, then stops. The nylon bristles are stiff enough to move baked on dinner but gentle enough for good plates and nonstick pans, and when they are not enough there is a scraper built into the back of the head. The grip stays put in a wet hand, refilling is a matter of unscrewing the cap at the bottom, and when the bristles finally give out you replace the head rather than the brush.
