Teakhaus blends this conditioner for the boards and butcher blocks it sells, which is why the ingredient list runs to mineral oil, beeswax, and a little orange essential oil rather than anything you would think twice about near food. Worked in regularly it keeps a board from drying out, cracking, or hanging onto last night's onion, and it leaves behind a soft protective sheen instead of a slick.

• Blend of mineral oil, beeswax, and orange essential oil
• Food safe, for wooden boards and butcher blocks
• Size: 8 oz
• Shake before use
• Apply and let it soak in for 12 to 24 hours
• Wipe off any excess, then wash and use as usual
• Season at least once a month
