Suck UK recreated the classic Edison filament with more than 100 tiny LEDs, then freed it from the socket entirely: this bulb glows on an internal rechargeable battery, cord-free and portable, with no heat and no shock. Use it as a night light or a table decoration, and rest easy knowing it is deliberately built a touch too large to screw into a mains fitting.
