Alessi Tripod Trivet

Tripod by Alessi may look like a piece of jewellery at first sight, but it is in fact a clever trivet by young designer Gabriele Chiave. Its stable elements sit on a chain so it can dangle from a kitchen hook, and like dice it rolls onto the table and arranges into a rest for hot pots, trays, and serving dishes. Decorative enough to leave out when dinner is done.
